The Boys...

Ok, really! I have the best job ever! Look at these cute guys I got to hang out with today! Cannon, who is already 6 months (so hard to believe), was such a great sport. He is the first little one that I have photographed that you can put a hat on him and he doesn’t care! He never tried to take it off. He just fits right in with his big brothers and dad! So cute!!

Thanks again for allowing me to capture these memories for you all. It is always a pleasure seeing and photographing you all. Hope you enjoy your sneak peak!

Little Miracle

Sometimes our footsteps lead us
where we never thought we'd go...
Sometimes experiences left behind us
are ones God chooses to show...
As we get older and think
that everything has been seen...
Our Lord allows a miracle to show us
we don't know anything...

Sometimes the deepest agony
can bring the greatest joy...
Sometimes the journey is arduous
that takes us where we need to go...
At times we may wonder
was it really worth the wait?
But love is the greatest outcome
And Love never comes too late...
So sometimes when you may wonder
if all the patience is worthwhile...
There is nothing more rewarding
Than a Newborn Baby's Smile

I am so honored to have had the opportunity to photograph my dear friend arrival of her first baby, Perry David. He is so precious (as you can see)! I just couldn't get enough of him!
I am looking forward to our first session!!!!

Welcome to motherhood Lindz! Love you and your family!

Million Dollar Mission

Mid June I sat down in the kitchen to have breakfast with my boys and a sweet picture of a mother holding her baby caught my eye in the Dallas Morning News. As I read the article my heart was breaking. This poor little girl in the picture had just lost her twin sister, they were both diagnosed with a rare and deadly disease called Niemann-Pick Disease Type C (NPC) shortly after their 1st birthday. Her sister, Corynne died at 20 months. My heart broke…how can this little sweet girl understand where her sister went!!! I immediately jumped on their website and offered the family a session to capture some lasting memories with Catherine. We meet a couple days later. I am so honored to have had the opportunity to meet Catherine, she made a lasting impression on me.
I pray that the photographs bring some comfort to this family in these hard times. Little Cathryn passed about a month after our session. I would like to try in the efforts of raising awareness and to help raise a million dollar in hoping to find a cure for Niemann-Pick Disease. Please visit their website for more information and to make a donation…like the mother put it if 100,000 people donate $10, they will reach their goal! http://www.cathrynandcorynne.org/

Let’s help save a child's life before it is too late!
